An afternoon tea party was the look Nicola and Simon went for and they got it just right! Nicola wanted to create a floaty dainty floral look using pretty summer flowers which would sit well with all the other florals in the wedding, bridesmaids dresses and vintage china. As the bridesmaids were in a mix of colours we decided to pick flowers which would be similar to the dresses so Nicolas bouquet would go perfectly with the outfits, the design and colour looked so perfect against her ivory dress. For the bridesmaids we did just the opposite, using all the same flowers but in white with only a touch of the little daisy for colour making the flowers also stand out brilliantly against the floral patterns. The buttonholes were simple and fun, picking out the touches of yellow throughout the flowers. This combination was truely gorgeous with the summer tea party theme.
What was ordered - Bridal Bouquet, Bridesmaid Bouquets, Buttonholes, Buckets of flowers ready to arrange - Nicola created all of the flowers for the tables herself, randomly placing stems in decorated Jam Jars, cutting costs of table arrangements and creating a more 'just picked' style.
